How we differ

Most places make you choose: fast or safe. We want both in one place.

This page shows where our planned hybrid model (Monerys builds → Artus (bank-to-be), when licensed) sits next to how others handle this today. It's not a ranking—just a map so you can find your spot.

How to read this page

Examples are for orientation, not endorsements. Features only turn on if rules and licences allow.

The Outcomes

Why this matters (everyday outcomes)

Speed with certainty

Payments go through with fewer stops. Where rules allow, hours/days become minutes. You can see when it went and that it went—less guessing.

One place to work

Fewer logins and re-typing. Old rails (accounts, payments, safekeeping) and—when allowed—token tools live together. Work once; the system remembers.

Proof on demand

Approvals happen inside the flow and write the record as you go. Downloads show what happened, who approved, and when—useful for you and acceptable to audit.

Evolution

How money rails got here (simple timeline)

Paper → Batch files → Real-time APIs → Hybrid (fiat + on-chain)

1

Paper & branches

stamps, cheques, counters.

2

Batch & spreadsheets

overnight files; "check back tomorrow."

3

APIs & mobile

faster in places, still many systems to sync.

4

Hybrid (planned)

one place where approvals write the record, and (when rules allow) on-chain tools sit next to normal banking.

Where we fit

Monerys AG (Swiss SPV) is building this hybrid model and filing for a full Swiss banking licence. When the licence is granted, the operating bank will be Artus (bank-to-be), incorporated as Artus Bank (NewCo).
